Animal Rights Fund (ARF)
Animal Rights Fund (ARF), based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, develops a civilized and humane society in which animals and humans can coexist in peace and harmony.
Humans and animals must learn to cohabitate and coexist as they share their habitats. Humans, however, have the upper hand in a lot of situations and animals depend on us for help. The Animal Rights Fund recognizes this and believes that it is their duty to protect and safeguard the rights of animals.
They are located at Comfort Manor, 1st Floor, No. 10/4, Kumara Kurpa Road in Bangalore.
Key Takeaways

The History of ARF
The Animal Rights Fund was started in an effort to collect funds to offer support for other animal welfare organizations. They eventually began expanding its efforts to include a myriad of activities to ensure the protection of animal rights and to encourage the well-being of all creatures.
Part of their endeavors includes championing veganism and fighting legal battles to protect the interests of all kinds of animals.

Noteworthy Legal Battles
– In their first legal battle, the ARF won a Supreme Court order to ban five animals from the circus.
– The High Court of Karnataka prohibited camel slaughter in Karnataka due to the ARF’s efforts.
– The ARF has won 4 dog cases in the High Court of Karnataka.
Why The ARF Believes That Shelters Are Not Enough
According to the ARF, shelters do not provide efficient or long-term solutions for animal welfare issues. They believe that the most effective way to deal with the horrors of slaughterhouses is to raise awareness amongst the masses.
This is crucial as it will help to reduce, and even eliminate, the demand for chicken, cow, pig, and goat slaughter, thereby making slaughterhouses redundant.
ARF’s Message And Vision
The ARF has a very simple message — to promote kindness towards birds, animals, and all other living beings and to follow veganism.
Their vision is:
– To promote veganism in an effort to build an ideal, crime-free society
– To fight for the legal rights of animals and promote their cause
