Saved Souls Foundation rescues dogs from the illegal dog meat trade, abusive situations, and accidents. The shelter provides solace and hope to disabled and paralyzed dogs that are often deemed unadoptable elsewhere.

Saved Souls Animal Sanctuary was founded in 2010 by Gabriela Leonhard. The shelter is located in Ban Kok Gnam in the province of Khon Kaen, in northeastern Thailand. SSF believes that every life deserves the chance to experience happiness, love, and joy. Moreover, they do everything they can to save lives.

The shelter is located at 133 Moo 4, Ban Khok Ngam, Ban Fang Khon Kaen in Northeastern Thailand.

Mission: A Voice for the Voiceless

At its core, the Saved Souls Foundation is on a mission to be the voice for animals that cannot speak for themselves. From rescuing animals from the horrors of the illegal dog meat trade to offering refuge to those wounded by abusive situations and accidents, SSF provides a sanctuary of love, care, and healing. Moreover, they create a world where every soul is valued, cherished, and given the chance to experience a life filled with happiness and dignity.

Saved Souls Foundation: What They Do

Saved Souls Foundation specializes in taking care of disabled and paralyzed dogs. Where other shelters would put them to sleep, Saved Souls Foundation believes that they can and have the right to live a happy life full of love and joy. Moreover, they take care of dogs and cats that would have had no place to go elsewhere. Around 60 of the dogs in their care are disabled or blind.

Goals: A Brighter Future for Animals

The goals of the Saved Souls Foundation encompass both immediate and long-term objectives that drive their transformative work. They provide sanctuary and care for paralyzed and abandoned animals . This includes animals with disabilities who are often overlooked by conventional shelters.

Additionally, SSF reduces the street animal population through adoptions and sterilization projects, aiming to put an end to the cycle of suffering.
