Angaja Foundation Initiatives

Rescuing Abandoned Dogs

Angaja Foundation is the rescue of stray dogs from the streets and those subjected to cruelty or abandonment. These dogs are taken to the foundation’s shelter, where they receive the care and attention they desperately need.

Currently, the shelter houses 40 dogs who are provided with a nurturing environment, regular meals, clean water, and essential medical care. They believe in giving these animals a second chance at life, filled with love and compassion.

Feeding Stray Dogs

In addition to the shelter, the Angaja Foundation is committed to feeding stray dogs in the surrounding areas. Every day, an additional 50 dogs located from Andheria Mode to Mandi Village are provided with nourishment.

Even during the challenging national lockdown in 2020, the foundation continued its efforts to ensure that these vulnerable animals didn’t go hungry. By distributing food through their dedicated van, they demonstrate their unwavering dedication to the welfare of stray dogs.

Supporting Cows

They approximately feed 100 cows regularly in Jaunapur, Vasant Kunj, Kotla Mubarakpur, and Gwal Pahari, located near the Delhi-Haryana border. Their van transports food for dogs and grass for the cows. By doing so, they contribute to the well-being of cows and promote kindness towards all living beings.

Angaja Foundation: Water Troughs and Welfare Associations

The Angaja Foundation goes beyond providing food and shelter to animals; they also focus on their overall well-being. Water troughs have been set up in several locations across Delhi and Gurgaon, including Kalyanpuri, Jaunapur, Chattarpur, Sultanpur Estate, Kotla Mubarakpur, Gwal Pahari, and Udyog Vihar Phase I.

These troughs ensure that animals have access to clean water, promoting their hydration and health. Additionally, they actively engage with resident welfare associations, encouraging them to provide water and food for stray dogs and cattle.
