– A 24 x 7 admission facility for homeless animals in distress: PFA Dehradun’s rescue hours are from 10am-6pm, the admission is open 24×7.
– Sanctuary for special need animals: The organization is also a permanent sanctuary for the very old and the special need animals.
– Rescue service for small animals in Uttarakhand: PFA Dehradun runs the only rescue service for small animals in Uttarakhand and attends all species of small animals in distress. The organziation has successfully rescued and rehabilitated thousands of animals since its inception in 2005.

PFA Dehradun is an animal shelter that houses all animals that are need in veterinary care. They have a separate housing facility for Animal Birth Control (pre & post-operative), rescue patients, cattle, equine, pig, and bird enclosures.

PFA Dehradun – Adoption Programme For Abandoned / Shelter Dogs And Cats
A dog or cat can be adopted from PFA Dehradun after visiting the shelter and filling out a form. Birth Control Surgery is mandatory for all female puppies that are adopted from the shelter. The organization prefers local adoptions as it helps us to keep track of the adopted dogs/cats better.
