PFA Sirohi is the local chapter of People for Animals and works for the welfare of animals in and around the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. They operate a specialist Camel Rescue Centre, in rural Sirohi district, to serve sick, old, and injured camels.
PFA Sirohi is India’s only camel rescue and shelter. They also run free animal check-up camps in needy villages.

PFA Sirohi organized a 7 days donkey and mule treatment camp in the rural area of the Sirohi district. 9 Donkeys and mules were adopted by PFA shelter and 87 donkeys were treated on the spot. Furthermore, the rescue team actively engaged with donkey owners, spreading awareness about donkey welfare.
PFA Sirohi Camel Rescue Center
PFA Sirohi has the first-of-its-kind camel rescue shelter in India and takes care of injured and abandoned camels. They run Camel Rescue Centre to treat camels in the rural areas around Sirohi where there are no veterinary services for them. The People for Animals camel rescue center in Sirohi originated in 2001 to address the welfare and veterinary needs of working camels.
The project treats over 200 camels during routine visits and may attend 15-20 emergency cases every month. The Camel Rescue Centre treats between 2000-3000 Camels every year.
