The Trust Founders
John, the founder of TPT born in 1951, served five years in the British Royal Army Veterinary Corps. He became the Chairman of the Hunt Saboteurs Association in 1974 after leaving the army. Jo Hickson 1975 (Jo) and John formed an animal rights protection and welfare organization in the UK and changed the UK’s infrastructure of animal care services.
Their efforts help achieve the following: The organization hosted demonstrations outside every fur shop in the UK to stop the killing of animals for fur. They also sat with laboratories to highlight the abuse and cruelty against primates in laboratories and the side effects of primate testing on their health.
Campaign against Zoos and Circuses
The organization held countless demonstrations against zoos and circuses that torture animals under their care. They demanded a ban on live animal acts and put an end to animal cruelty. TPT India continues the founder’s vision and aims to revolutionize and protect primate life in India.
Rescue Center and Tree House
TPT aims to help monkeys by providing an optimal environment and nutritional food. It aims to boost their mental and physical health and provide better living quality. The primates also get quality healthcare and medical treatment to ensure they recover quickly. Goa Government Forestry Department hands over orphaned babies to the organization and provides as much love as a human baby would get. The organization ensures never leaving these primates alone, especially in their first birth year.

Goa counts as one of the wealthiest states in India, but our Tree House resides outside the sanitized areas for tourists. It means volunteers will experience the real India and the issues in Wildlife. Visitors will find insects, rodents, reptiles, and wild monkeys invading the roofs.
